We have designed everything the way we would choose for our own vacations: The privacy of the apartments means that you will immediately feel at home.
The Eva apartment house is situated in a quiet location and combines nature with a proximity to the village: you can reach the Eva apartments from Zermatt via a small mountain tunnel. Warm shades, local materials and specially designed furniture ensure a modern, comfortable environment, which is also reflected in the hospitality. Eva's guests who book a serviced apartment can take advantage of a number of individual extras such as an optional breakfast service, or delivery and cleaning services. The house also features a wellness area with a sauna and steam bath, which can be used by guests at no charge. A water massage in a whirlpool can also be reserved. Winter guests can also make use of our large ski room with modern ski boot heating.
Kitchen
Optimally equipped: Our modern and homey kitchen also provides Swiss quality behind the doors, with V-Zug appliances. The equipment includes crockery, pans, a toaster, kettle, capsule coffee machine, and dishwasher. We also supply dish towels, dish soap, a brush, and tabs. We can provide additional extras on loan.
Furniture
The heart of the studio is the light living area with box spring bed. In the evenings, the solid dining table, which links the living area and the kitchen, becomes the focal point. Featuring brushed wood surfaces, lots of white, and a warm green, the interior pays homage to the alpine environment. We have used mainly local materials, such as natural stone for the worktop or granite for the wall which integrates the mountainscape into the apartments.
BATH&SHOWER
Just like in a hotel: Our bathrooms feature fluffy shower and hand towels, bathroom slippers, a vanity kit with shower gel, soap, and a hair dryer.
MOUNTAIN VIEW
The mountain is always in view: You'll only get closer to the Matterhorn by hiking or skiing. The south-facing apartments have a panoramic view of our Swiss mountain icons, and from the east you can see the Mischabel mountain range with the Dom.
ENTRANCE
Access to the Eva Apartments is via a 120m tunnel through mountain rock. When constructed in 1972, the tunnel was the first structure of its kind and has become a part of Zermatt history: The tunnel was drilled using a machine with a diameter of 2.5m to penetrate the mountain.
To this day, guests arrive in an underground ante-room with adjoining ski room, where they can store and dry their sports gear in summer or winter. The ski room is equipped with a heating facility for ski boots and a room humidifier to protect your equipment until you're ready to hit the ski runs again. You can reach the house and the hill outside the village using an elevator, which transports you 40m up to the first floor of the house.
Security
All doors have keyless locks and are entered using an advanced card system. When you leave the apartment the door locks automatically, and you can enter it again using the non-contact scanner. Every access is registered, and we can immediately block your card should you lose it. In this way, only those who are authorized to enter your apartment can access it.
Entertainment
Even with our flat screens the focus is on panorama: Every Eva apartment is equipped with a 49" Samsung TV, with radio reception and a LAN port. The nightstand also has a built-in USB port, next to the socket, which means that your smartphone is always within reach, and you don’t need an adapter.
WiFi
Our wi-fi access is fast and is available everywhere. Network connectivity extends to the private areas as well as to the communal facilities such as the ski room, wellness area and part of the garden.
Wellness
We share a spa with the Paradies. The steam bath and sauna are free of charge, and you can use the whirlpool for a nominal fee.
During the skiing season, the spa is open from 17:00 - 20:00; special opening times are possible by arrangement.
